Ron also performs several musical projects.

Ron has conducted clinics for improvisation and soloing; He also presented a workshop on early 20th century jazz artists as part of Boulder’s “Jump for Jazz” education event.

Charlie Brown Christmas Suite:

Ron has created a musical suite “Charlie Brown goes to the Nutcracker”. This 90-minute performance weaves the music from the Charlie Brown Christmas show composed by Vince Guaraldi with the jazz versions of “The Nutcracker” written by Duke Ellington. It has been performed by Ron LeGault Jazz for the past 2 Christmas seasons, becoming the annual Christmas season feature for Hotel St Julien and Everyday Joe’s, Fort Collins.


An Evening of Duke Ellington:

Ron’s quintet performed the works of Duke Ellington from his early years through the most famous period, including several rarely played songs arranged by Ron.


Speakeasy Chic: the Music:

At Cafe Sole, Boulder, Ron’s quintet presented an evening of songs from the Speakeasy Era that have withstood the test of time and are now part of the Great American Songbook.
